Through Pastor Moore’s tremendous healing experience and testimony, many lives were
touched. People began calling and before long, there was a group of believers hungry for the
Word of God. With its humble beginnings in the Moore’s garage and through prayerful
encouragement from many people, the Lord began to bless the ministry from its very first
services in 1977.
It was through the faithfulness of the church family and God’s blessings that the first church
was built. With a seating capacity of 200, the small chapel includes a nursery, fellowship hall
and Agape Christian Academy.  God revealed to Pastor Moore that this church was not only
a house of worship but also a clinic for those sick in body and soul. They would come to
LVCTC and receive His touch of Grace.
The church continued to grow and in 1996 a beautiful 12,500 sq. ft. sanctuary was built.   In
2001, a 10,000 sq. ft. gymnasium was constructed to minister to the youth of La Vernia and
surrounding areas. Both facilities were constructed solely through the tithes, offerings and
generous gifts of His people.
We are thankful to all who have had a part in building this ministry, but above all, we are
thankful to our God, who through the helping hands of others, has shown that His love can
unite the hearts of many faiths to work in unity for His Glory.
